I tried to back up my Stealth dvd, but when i use dvd decrypter, it has a problem with one file... i hit ignore, and the rest goes smoothly... then when i use dvd shrink and try to burn it, it says that one certain file is missing and that it can't complete operation.... anyone know how to fix/get around this?

Well,,, did you have the very latest ANY DVD running in the background like you should have?
No DVD can withstand the power of DVDShrink along with AnyDVD!

You dont need anydvd, just get the FREE version of DVDFab Decrypter ,
Rip & open in DVD Shrink & do movie only or full disc with what you want removed and that's it. 8)

This sounds like you have a defective/damaged "Stealth" dvd, and the program gave up on reading one of the files from the original dvd and you said "ignore" it (ie. "skip" it).

I also used DVD Decrypter with AND without AnyDVD, both to no avail, i get error message at 99% on Decrypter and this in DVD Shrink "DVD Shrink encountered an error and canot continue - Invalid DVD navigation structure. I've also used DVD Fab Decrypter with the same outcome and the disc was clean but i cleaned it to be on the safe side. Is there anything left to try? [/quote]

There most certainly is. Visit the store where you purchased the disc and return it for another one or buy a second copy of this pressed media and make one of these your backup copy.

Stealth can not be backed up with DVD Decrypter. It's way to old and outdated to break through the copy protection. The last several versions of DVD fab Decrypter are able to rip this disc.

  9. Bleh, another Columbia release with ARccOS protection. Same applies to this one as to The Fog:

Your problem is that DVDFabDecrypter doesn't output fully compliant files. That is not to say you can't get them to work, but DVDShrink is picky. Try FixVTS on the DVDFabDecrypter output, then try DVDShrink again. Or just do the business correctly with PgcEdit and the PSL plugin.
