Has anyone with an E85 tested any Dual layer (either DVD+R or DVD-R DL) discs written on a PC with this machine for read compatibility
I've got an LG DVD writer that will write to DVD+R DL discs and a copy of Tsunami DVD Author that can handle Dual layer.
So I was just wondering if it's worth shelling out for the discs?
PS How the devil do you adda comment to the a DVD Recorder in the Lists section?
Thanks
John

I tried to play a dual layer disc recorded on my sony dru-800a drive in my computer and the panasonic said "unsupported".
There is a firmware upgrade on the panasonic site. I installed that upgrade and it didn't help.
