    hi ive used both programs firstly with winavi i tryed converting a avi file and when it finishes converting it i used powerdvd to view to and it looked pixelated and streched diagonal the same thing was when i used the preview of the output with tmpgenc (picture shown below) i burned to dvd and thats how it was viewed on the dvd player
    does anyone know why this might occur? is it a codec problem or how the avi file was ripped?

    Could you post a screenshot to show what happens ?

    Maybe even a GSpot of your source and final files ?

    How do I upload screenshots ? might assist.
