Use convertxtodvd($) or dvd flick(free) instead.
Hello,
I've been using the WinAVI 9.0 Video Converter program to make DVD's of several TV shows I've downloaded from the Net. Things have been going fine for months with the copies, but now, I'm getting audio synch problems. For example, one UK soap I downloaded (I'm in the U.S.) plays fine from the hard drive, with no audio sync problems. But with the DVD copy made from the download, the audio's way off, I'd say by a couple of seconds. In one scene, the character's finished speaking the line, but on screen his mouth is still moving. I've had the same audio synch problems with a 2006 Top of the Pops music show that I copied a couple of weeks ago to DVD. Again, I haven't had problems copying these shows until recently.
Can anyone from the group suggest some hints on how to fix this audio sync problem
with the WinAVI 9.0 video converter? I'd appreciate it. BTW, I deleted the WinAVI 9.0 program last night, and then reinstalled it, but still had the audio sync problems.
Thanks in advance for your help,
Marshall

Baldrick,
Thanks for the info. I'll try dvd flick and see what happens.

Baldrick and other VIDEOHelp members,
I just used the dvd flick program, and the audio synch was fine now. Again, thanks for the info.
I have a simple dvd flick question. How do I create a title menu with the dvd flick program? I'd like to choose or
switch between different shows recorded via the menu, which I did with WinAVI. The shows I just
copied using dvd flick automatically followed each other and weren't separated. I looked in the
dvd flick guide, but couldn't find the part to create a menu.
Thanks again,
Marshall
Pay the $ for ConvertX, user friendly even to insert menus. Only took me about 10 Minutes to get it without any suer guide. It also has a burner that is fantastic built into it.
