LG dvd model DC-596M - Divx playback problem

I have problems playing back DVD's copied and converted with VSO DivxtoDVD Converter Program.

Does anyone know if there is a way to open DVD Player Model DC-596M for playing with DIVX? Perhaps there is a code or something else?

The dvd's created by VSO DivxtoDVD are no longer in dvix format, the software is converting them to DVD format mpeg2.

There is no way to update/modify a dvd player to play divx as it is a hardware feature that has to be built in. The player supports divx or it doesn't.

Thanks for your reply Krispy. But you see, even though the format is in DVD format mpeg2, I my DVD player does not support it, and I don't understand why it does not play it.

I played these DVD's in a Divx DVD player and it played them with no problem at all.

Therefore, my question is if there is a way to open my DVD Player Model DC-596M for playing the DVD format mpeg2?
