    I used all of the above over the weekend to crearte a disc with multiple chapters from mutliple titles and it worked perfectly following the directions found at http://members.dodo.net.au/~jimmalenko/test.htm. Tonight, I tried it (at least 5 times using different data) and when I open DVDShrink just to view the finished product, I get:

    DVD Shrink encountered an error and cannot continue.
    Invalid datat in file "E:\VIDEO_TS\VTS_01_1.VOB

    Also, when I try to open it with WinDVD, I get:

    The file number 1 has an invalid format.

    I ran IFOEdit on an unmerged VOB and it came out just fine and DVDShrink was able to play it. Is there some issue with VOBEdit that I am not aware of? I followed the directions very carefully each time.

    Here is the datd I used:

    VOBEdit
    VTS_01_001.VOB, VTS_01_002.VOB --> VTS_01_1.VOB

    IFOEdit
    VTS_01_1.VOB --> VIDEO_TS.BUP, VIDEO_TS.IFO, VTS_01_0.BUP, VTS_01_0.IFO

    Any help available?

    Thanks - Rich

    I think you'll find that the one drawback of that method is that the VOBs you're joining need to have the exact same settings - subtitles, audio streams, Aspect Ratio, Format etc etc, for that method to work properly.

    You may like to try something like TMPGEnc DVD AUthor, which should handle multiple sources with different characteristics a lot better.
    If in doubt, Google it.
