This is the first disc of a two-disc set. The second disc copies perfectly.
The first disc, cracked on decrypter and shrunk on shrink 3.2 using default settings won't allow subtitles to be turned off.
I can't re-author, either, removing the subtitles entirely, as their is non-English speech occurant in the movie and therefore they need to be there, but only activated at certain times.
Any suggestions?

As no-one has bothered replying, I thought I'd hazzard a guess to get things moving.
I have the file as an uncompressed VIDEO_TS folder decrypted from the original using DVDFabDecrypter and using Power DVD the movie can be played on the computer without subtitles.
When I shrink the file, the compression makes it so that the subtitles are defaulting as on, and although you can turn them off, the next speech will trigger them back in. Re-authoring is out as the subtitles are necessary in parts when non-English is spoken.
Is my only solution, then, to burn to DL?
Anyone???
