    I am new to capturing so please forgive me if I sound stupid. I have a hauppauge pvr350rd and my vcr is connected to the arial tv in. When I start WinTv2000 which comes with the card I can see the picture from my vhs tapes and record them.
    I would like to use a different software to record so I tried gbpvr and virtualvcr. In both cases I don't get a signal from the card.
    I also have my freeview box connected to the card from which I would like to record but againnto picture in any of the other programs, just the WinTV2000.

    Any help greatly appreciated!
