In VirtualDubMod, I get this error trying to compress audio with the Divx Audio Codec.
Does this means this codec is unable do compress (only decompress)?
Thanks

DivX audio = WMA V2 and from what I can remember, yes you can use it to compress. No idea why you would want to though.

Well, I though it was MP3 audio. Anyways, anyone knows the reason for this error message?

I'm relatively sure that the audio codec is VERY outdated, i'd be surprised if it even DECOMPRESSES properly....your best off to use a differant audio format (CBR mp3, or ac3 for example) As for why its erroring on you, i'll take a bet that support for it was just eventually dropped due to age......the divx audio codec dates back to the days of divx 3 when it was just a hack of the MS codec...you may still be able to use the divx audio codec through nandub though......no guaruntees on it because it is kinda an anciant codec.
