  3. I did, but there are WAY to many. If there was a top 10 list in price ranges that would help out.

so if anyone has a player that just kicks ass LET ME KNOW.

  4. Quality is a very subjective thing. One person thinks it's good but may not be up to par in your standard and vice versa. I think the list provides you enough information as to the 'capability' of each player.

  5. When it comes to a very subjective thing, the DVD Player list is from from it, it's large, it would not be a bad idea to put up a "Top 10" type listing, maybe once a month or so, I know I printed the thing out and still had problmes looking through it....just a throught....

  9. I noticed that there seems to be a difference between one of the items on the DVD player list (which is very helpful, btw) and the claims from Toshiba. The Toshiba SD2715 is listed on the player list as having limited play ability, no CD-R, no DVD-R, No DVD-RW; however, at Amazon it is listed as being able to play almost anything. I'm wondering if its just an upgrade issue, meaning the new ones play whereas the old ones didn't. Or just a mistake--just want to be sure before buying the thing, that my DVD-Rs are gonna work on the thing. I might just see if I can find the thing at Circuit City or somewhere and try one out. Just though I'd ask.

  10. i have been happy with my apex ad1500. plays every cd i throw at it and with $175 you should be able to buy about 300 blank cd's to make sure you have plenty of media to burn to put in it.
    peace out,

  11. Yeah. The Apex 1500 can play everything. TO me, I'm happy about it. My friend bought a Apex 3201. The 3201 gives out better sound quality and a better MP3 playing capability than the Apex 1500. However, it has a little glitch that if you want to play a VCD or DVD which is in different standard (NTSC or PAL that is)from the previous one, you will have to shut off the player and turn it back on again first. Otherwise it's OK.
