  2. What format is the DVD player supposed to play +R/RW or -R/RW ?
Are you using the correct format of recordable disc in the player ?

  4. So is your DVD player capable of playing + format discs ?

Take a look at the DVD player section to the left of this screen and see if your player is listed, you can then see if it is capable of playing + format discs.

As you will see there are a lot of zenith players that are unable to play recordable discs !

If you can't find a listing for it then I would suggest trying to see if you can borrow a -RW from someone to test in your player.

Also, what message is you player giving you with the disc inserted and what software are you using to create your recorded DVD's.
The software you are using can play a part in making the discs readable or not !

  6. OK, I think there is a very simple answer to your problem, if you take a look on this page and find your DVD player model at the bottom of the page you will see that the DVD+-RW options are greyed out which says to me that your DVD player is not capable of playing DVD/RW's,

    https://www.videohelp.com/dvdplayers.php?DVDname=zenith&Search=Search&chipset=&country=...erby=Name#next

However, if you are adamant that your player can play RW discs then let us know what process you are using to burn your discs. Give as much detail as you can so we can see whether the problem lies in the way you create your DVD's.

Have you tried burning a write once disc such as a DVD-R or DVD+R with your burning process ?
I would recommend trying this first to see if your player will recognise the disc, this will give you an indication as to whether your problem is with the burning process or with the discs.

problem is that I went to the panel and saw that it takes dvd+-r, vcd and cdr's. I put in the dvd +r and it still says check disk, then ejects it. What do I need to do to have it play a burnt disk using nero.

For a start I would forget NERO for burning and give DVDdecrypter a try for your burning needs, you may then start to get some success.

I suggest that if you want to sort this problem out that you start to read properly the replies you are getting and take action on that advice.
You keep asking how to make your discs work but you dont seem to be willing to give up any information on how your doing them.

Help us to help you !!
