  1. I have an audio file that wont fully render in GSpot but it does say (in the pathway listing) its an mp4, also, if I 'right click/properties' it says its AAC audio, what is this and can I convert it to mp3?

I just tried the tools AAC >> Mp3 with no joy

    Hi,

If you can burn an audio cd with a program you can then rip that cd to mp3. (use a rewritable to save discs).

(edit - try renaming the file to .aac and use that conversion program again - might work)
