1.Couldnt locate decompressor for format DIVX(divx4+)
2." " " " " XVID(unknown)
3." " " " " DIV3(microsoft high speed mpeg-4 V3 HACK divx low-motion.
Them are the 3 errors i recieve when trying to open up multiple avi files in virtualdub.
Whats Codecs do i need? ive tried nimopack and allin1 pack...both of these never solved my problem.
is there a pack out there that will cover all codec probs?

Codec packs can be THE CAUSE of your problems. Only download the codecs you need, identified by Gspot or AVIcodec. Using the whole codec pack can cause interference with other codecs and overwrite or damage your existing codecs. Sorry, rant over.
The XVID codec, and the DivX Codecs are here:https://www.videohelp.com/tools?s=6#6, or you can just install ffdshow if you just want to view or open the files and it should cover all the missing codecs when using VD. If you want to encode to those formats, then you can install the codecs listed above as needed.
I'm not sure about 'DIV3(microsoft high speed mpeg-4 V3 HACK divx low-motion.' That's either the old DivX3 codec or one from MS. -
how do i enable them ? i downloaded the probklen still havuing same issue
