    Well, why not? Baldrick just pointed out what you've missed; he wasn't nasty about it - just matter of fact. Do post news that everyone will be interested in, after making yourself reasonably sure that discussion is not already ongoing on the topic.

    Can happen to anyone. Happened to me recently. Kind jimmalenko pointed out that the topic was already on.
