Hi, I have a query with regards setting Forced Subtitles
I have a film, not sure of original source as it is from dvd-r image, but it has an english subtitle stream (stream #7) that needs to be forced on for foreign language section translations. These currently do not display automatically....
Having traced the procedure through PGCEdit, I find the part where, if no subtitles have been selected, it should set the subtitle stream to 7 with the command
51 20 00 00 C7 00 0E 00
if ( gprm(14) == gprm(0) ) then { (SetSTN) Set Sub-picture stream = 7, on }
and when it gets to this line, it does change SPRM#2 Sub-Pucture stream, to the value to 71, hence, I am guessing is stream #7 + 1 for on, but it still doesn't show.
I have gotten around it just by removing the Prohibit Stream change in the VTS and can manually select subpic #7, but I wondered why I couldnt get it to change any other way.
Thanks
