  1. i have a pvr 350 that i use to record sporting events and tv shows that i can't watch when they are on at their original times. it seems to do a great job capturing to mpeg2(i guess). If i install virtualdub to help capture home video through my dv camera/firewire port will i have any conflict issues with with my pvr 350 capturing of tv.

  2. You shouldn't have any conflicts between the PVR 350 and your firewire caps. I have no problems with my PVR 250 and firewire camcorder DV caps. I can even capture with both devices at the same time.

VirtualDub may not be a good choice for DV caps though.

My biggest problem recording many video sources simultaneously on the same machine is audio monitoring. I need to find an audio solution.

  5. I use the simple, and effective, WinDV for firewire.
I have no trouble capping with that, and my Hauppauge at the same time.
