  1. When the VideoCD (NTSC).mcf template is loaded, in the settings at the Advance Tab there's the Source Aspect Ratio:

    4:3 525 line (NTSC)
    4:3 525 line (NTSC, 704x480)

    My question is:
What is the difference because I tried both and both works on my Pioneer DVD player?

    Any help is appreciated.

  2. 4:3 525 line (NTSC) normal use with DVD source because of resolution 720x480
4:3 525 line (NTSC 704x480) I'm not sure what source to use with but if I create menu I always use this resolution (704x480) for my picture.

  3. I was curious too, so I did a little 10-second test clip and tried both settings (on CDRW), and found that the 704x480 setting cuts off just a little of the screen, at least on my Apex player. It's hardly noticable unless you look for it, but it's there. So I always use the 'regular' setting.
