  1. OK... I have searched for any info on this and I can not find it anywhere...
I want to be able to RIP the audio tracks off my
    DOORS L.A. Woman DVD-Audio Disk...

Then Convert them into MP3 files...

Is there a tutorial or a simple software that will do this for me?

    THanks

  3. Do you mean DVD-AUDIO or DVD-VIDEO?DVDDecrypter->ISO read will tell you.
If DVD-AUDIO,you can't rip it because it uses CSS2 encryption.
If DVD-VIDEO use the ones listed above.
You can however play the DVD-AUDIO with PowerDVD and record analog with Audacity then convert to MP3(not great but it works ).

  5. OK...

THIS IS NOT A MOVIE TYPE DISK!!!!!!!!!!!!

    DVD-A DVD-AUDIO

THIS DISK DOES NOT HAVE ANY VIDEO ON IT!!!!!!!

now that we are all on the same page...

This type of disk is only audio DTS or Dolby 5.1 sound quality...

Apparently no one has ever tried this so, I doubt there is an answer to my question...

To find out more of what I am talking about go here...

If you look in the 2 folders on the disc are there files in both the VIDEO_TS & AUDIO_TS folders ??
Because most of the time there will be the same audio in both folders to be able to play in both standard dvd players and dvd players that support DVD-AUDIO.

But if there are files in the VIDEO_TS folders then it is prob. the same song list as whats in the AUDIO_TS folder in which case he CAN rip it to his HDD and convert it and burn it to a cd as i have done with alot of my DVD AUDIO disc's.....

That's why i asked him if he had files in both folders on his DVD AUDIO disc 8)

Many DVD Audio disks are hybrid, meaning as well as containing DVD Audio content (uses CPRM Protection at 128 bit) it will also contain DVD Video (not movie) content in form of audio in Dolby and DTS.

The Dolby/DTS part of the disc can be ripped, but not the DVD Audio part.
