  1. I have downloaded 2 dvds from Binary newsgroup and have one in VOB and the other in RAR files. I would like to know how to convert these to files so that nero 6 can recognize and burn to a dvd-r. Thanks in advance for helping me out.

Look at the guides to the left under Authoring for the vob file . You can use Winrar to open rar files.

WinRAR free trial version available here:
    http://www.rarlab.com

Open the RAR files with it.

  5. I have already gone to the guides section of this website and poped in the VOB to DVD conversion option and recieved no response. What are VOB files? Do I need to convert them to another file in order to burn them on a dvd?
