Adobe prem 6.5 prob....

I have been using Adobe 6.5 yesterday I got imy systm formatted a nd installed win98se alongwith linux 9.Now My adobe does not render and gives me the following error messsge."Illegal operation..." Details"MCSPMPEG.AX at 018f:id204241" Can any body help me I have a project to complete.......

The word is "encode", not render.

Anyway, that is the MainConcept MPEG Encoder plugin error. Reinstall the "Adobe MPEG Encoder".

Now A Fifteen Min clipping with some effects takes 2 hour to encode.Before encloding I just wanted to confirm. Is it because of the processor 1.8ghz or anything else.I have a VCD and I want to add some effects and then encode and write.

Is it home movies, DVD rips, DivX downloads??
Is it captured material??
What is your final format??
Name all your tools used up to the problem point..

Uninstall your current Mainconcept encoder

Yes it is a captured materialfrom a video camera.Now I want to add some effects and rewrite into a VCD.
