Hello,
Well the new season for Enterprise is this Friday. I sincerely hope they're going to improve it. Otherwise I don't think it'll make it to it's 5th season next year (it is the 4th season this new season isn't it???).
I watched about half of the season last year. I did see the finally. How weird! I hope they do a good job of pulling themselves out of the time travel mess they got into.

Donatello - The Shredder? Michelangelo - Maybe all that hardware is for making coleslaw?

I think it's the worst of the 5 Trek series'. We started watching at first, but the gay theme song was a turnoff. Still, we watched ...and it got really bad.
My main complaints:
Was it necessary to make T'Pol such a bitch?
They didn't follow the technology timeline from the other Treks. -
T'Pol is fit though
I agree the music is gay. -

There's not enough interaction between the cast. The doctors the only likeable character.

I like Enterprise. TNG, DS9 and Voyager all took a couple of seasons for character development and the story lines to improve. IMHO Enterprise was better than the others right out of the gate. Last season's predominant arc was excellent. Unfortunately, I don't see it going beyond season 4 unless the viewer ratings improve. I believe Paramount took a big hit financially agreeing to produce the 4th sesaon. It was more than likely an attempt to make future syndication more attractive since 4 seasons worth of episodes are more attractive than just 3.
Also...I don't quite understand the problems people seem to have with the openning theme song. That really isn't any indication at all of the quality of the episodes themselves...and quite frankly who actually watches the openning credits or the closing credits of any of the ST series anyway for that matter? No, I'm from Iowa. I only work in outer space. -
Hello,
Many of us just don't like the theme song that's all.
I agree all of the star trek spinoffs (including TNG) had a rough first few years. It just seems like they haven't found the right combo for Enterprise yet.
Remember - TNG got rid of Tasha (thankfully!), DS9 added Worf - VOY added 7of9.
Each series had a big shakeup before they hit their strides. I don't see Enterprise pulling out of their nosedive in to ratings oblivion.

I can't watch this show. It's too slow....oh, and Star Trek sucks.

TNG couldn't because of the time difference but they had McCoy on the pilot and others guest starred later. DS9 had O'Brien and then added Worf. VOY started the pilot on DS9 with Quark guest starring. Paris (aka Nick Lakarno of Wesley at the academy fame - nice name changeto hide the true identity) was on VOY to give some connection. Actually the actor who played Neelix played several characters on TNG - a couple ferengi if I remember right.

I like the theme song and the opening credits.
The show itself I don't really watch, catch it on occasion when I'm browsing around late at night. A few of the episodes I've seen have raised some good issues. -
I like Enterprise and I'm going to watch it, but I think this season is already off to a bad start!
"Storm Front"
Archer awakes from destroying the Xindi superweapon to find himself back on Earth in the past, fighting alien Nazis; T'Pol and the Enterprise must defeat the aliens and restore the timeline in order to return to their time."Terminated!" :firing: -

Hello,
You know, another sign of a troubled show is when the day is changed. It was on Wednesdays and now Fridays. That's usually a sign of a show struggling. Voyager got switched a couple of times. If I remember right it started out on a Monday and then moved to Wednesday where I think it stayed.

Friday is the kiss of death too. It's the worst night of the week in TV land

Yeah, if it doesnt turn around this will be the last season.

They should have followed the enterprise B, or the enterprise C. C would be cool, most of the tech of TNG, and wasn't there a romulan war before TNG?
Alternatively, Zefram Cochrane in his first ship, journeying to Mars and alpha centauri etc. -
Hello,
Well tonights the night. I hope they don't screw it up and end up getting canned after this season. They just need some tweaking and it can be a decent show.
