No, how is it?Have you seen the animated StarTrek show?
Do you have any of the new box sets? I only have ds9 season 5. I have all of VGR on tape, some TNG, and I have seen most TNG and TOS episodes. I haven't seen too much of ds9 or any of the animated series. I own all of the movies except for the Motion Picture in either VHS or DVD format.

I thought the episode with Spinner was pretty good. I'm looking forward to the rest

Hello,
Well part 3 is Friday night. It should be pretty good.
Overall I've been pretty pleased with the "soong trilogy". Though the regulars are flat as always...
Thoughts????

I think it's all too strange
First Star Trek finds the mutants floating in space
Star tek 2 finds Data and later find Soon(sp?)
Star Trek Enterprise has Soon on their show too
Time lines don't work by a long shot. They'll have to fix that some how by Soon going into deep freeze or something -

It's a Star Trek fact that all the males in the Soong family look the same

Look at Lor, Data, and....what's the new one's name? They're all identical. :P

They always said that Lor, Data and I would imagine B4 were made in their creators image. As far as Dr, Soong looking like his great, great, great grandfather, that is just a little artistic license on Berman/Pillar's part. Most people who have posted to this thread were looking for a little action...things to be shaken up a bit with Enterprise...well here you have it. Can't you get past it?

Rodenberry dies and everyone involved with the show's creation thinks they can make a new show like him. Rodenberry started Star Trek way out to make it more feasible. Back to the Future went gutsy with hover vehicles in 2015. You set it 250 years into the future, now you given way to a long time of technology advancement wether it will happen or not. It's more believable because you don't need the 250 year gap to be filled in. A broad assumtion that something took place to make the shows future happen and it's really of no relevance.

Hello,
The last of the soong trilogy is tonight
I like the preview because it suggests someone may die (not mentioning who for those who have it delayed). PM me about it

Hello,
Well it looks like they're going with "trilogy fever" on Enterprise.
They just finished the soong trilogy last week (quite well wrapped up if I do say so myself). Now they're doing an Archer/Tpal trilogy on Vulcan!
So much for a season long story line!

Did you know Tim Russ who plays TuVac in Voyager also had a role in a StarTrek Movie, but not as a Vulcan? He played an Earth Tactical Lieutenant on the older Enterprise in Generations.

Hello,
No kidding, Of course I knew that!
Did you also know Odo (rene aubejonois) also had a bit role in Star Trek 6 before getting his job in DS9???? He was one of the coconsipirators in the assasination plot. He said "we'll clean their chronomoters" in the war plan of trying to extradite Kirk and McCoy

Hello,
So what do you guys think of the new "trilogy" approach they seem to be taking this season???
It seems to be a bit fresher. The year long story of the expanse last year seemed to drag a bit. These shorter stories seem to get more depth out of the writers/actors. Hopefully they'll keep this three-parter fever going so that it feels like a mini-movie every time. They just don't seem to do well on individual episodes without an overall story arc.
Thoughts???

Did you know a ton of the TNG cast had guest spots on CHIPS????
I'm not joking - go to www.imdb.com and search the TNG cast members and about half of them had a guest spot on CHIPS.

I must admit that I am getting a little tired of the rather lengthy fight scenes where Archer gets the s**t kicked out of him (Zero Hour and Cold Station 12). They are too similar to the ones in the original series [the one where Kirk fights Fin or Finey...(can't remember the name) where everyone including his daughter think he is dead but is actually hiding in engineering]

He was also in the TNG episode "Starship Mine" where he played a member of a group of terrorists trying to procure trilithium. They hijack the Enterprise while it's in dock getting a baryon scan. Picard ends up smacking him with his saddle, IMS.
I actually am really enjoying the latest Ent episodes about the vulcans, its nice to see a change going on that relates to the later series. For example, the creation of the Hall of Knowledge (I think its called) on Vulcan where they house the Katras.
