It's still dull and uninteresting. It kills me to say that. I'm a big Trekker and it just doesn't grab me like the other series did.
I hope when Brent Spiner's on it helps. Otherwise this series is Deepsixed.

I'd offer an opinion, but I can't comment on whatever spinoff is being discussed in this thread, as I've never seen it. I'm sure I'll catch every episode when I'm condemned to an eternity of suffering in hell.If God had intended us not to masturbate he would've made our arms shorter.

WHERE'S Q????? He would be so much fun on this one. He could be ripping them to shreds but help them out with the first NX ship.

Anyway, BRENT SPINER is coming in two weeks!!! I hope he becomes at least a recurring character, more than 3 episodes please!
I hope he's a tech crew on installing a new warp drive maybe???? Maybe he'll help install a warp 6 or 7 engine!

Hello,
Brent Spiner is FINALLY on this FRIDAY!
I hope it's good. With him in it at least it should be different.
Is Tpal (EDIT - Jolene Balock - forgot her real name, is that how you spell it???) off the show????? She got married but I wasn't 100% sure if she was staying on Vulcan for a year or if she was rejoining the ship.....

I'm a big Star Trek fan! I love all the other series, but not Enterprise so much. I think the reasons why are the same as most of yours:
-bad time slot (it doesn't repeat later incase you miss it & I didn't get upn for the first couple seasons)
-set in the past (hard to have creative storylines when the "first" of things has not happened yet)
-actors didn't seem to come together.
I still like ENT, and I'm going to try to watch it this season, especially the ones with Brent Spiner.
Anyone here like any other scifi like B5, Farscape, Sliders, Stargate SG1 & Atlantis?

Do they do the 'movement to the left' everytime the ship gets hit in Enterprise? I remember early episodes of Star Trek They'd all lean and a fog machine would lightly go off at the elevator door. 2 min. later the captain gets up and uses the elevator. The engine room and practically all the other decks were horribly damaged, but the elevators seemed to work nearly all of the time.

Don't give too much away about the new season, we are way behind over here. Or at least give a spoiler alert
We'll be right back after these messages from Binford! -

Unfortunately no. But if you've seen the previews he's still gonna be a cool character.
Toolman - Sorry, didn't know. But this is easily available on www.startrek.com SO are the commercial previews I believe.

Were not as far behind as we used to be with US tv shows, but I havn't even seen a preview for the new season of Enterprise.
Stargate SG1 season 8 and Atlantis just started last week. How long have they been going over there? We'll be right back after these messages from Binford! -

Hello,
So who saw the new one with Brent Spiner????
It was great! He's BACK!
I won't give any spoilers since the repeat hasn't shown yet in all areas so I'll just say it's been long over due. This show needed something to kick start it.
Every regular cast member looks slow and inept next to Spiner. He's just so polished and smooth that it's second nature to him.
He plays his character like a cross between Data and Lor. The Perfect balance if you ask me
I wish he was in more than just 3 episodes!
BRING BACK THE TNG CAST!Please?????

I have some support for enterprise and its continued survival in the timeline. I give you a quote from the book Star Trek A Time to Harvest:
"Seated next ot La Forge, Lieutenant Commander Data replied, "It was a very active, almost chaotic, period in Earth history, Geordi. With only a single vessel of sufficient capability available for such a task, Starfleet's priorities did not allow for a mission of extended duration at that time. By the time such resournces were available, Earth found itself embroiled in confilcts with both the Xindi and the Romulans."
Interesting.. -
I just hope they link the Borg to Voyager as it was meant to be. It would be pretty cool to see the TNG cast do a time travel once more and meet the Enterprise cast to defeat the borg and figure out the link between the Borg and Voyager. Realizing that it was earth that caused this and that the Q also want it stopped as they do not know how to completely remove it.
-
Hello,
Doramius - How about the TNG crew time travel back to Enterprise and REPLACE them!
Kevin
--Q could manipulate the time line to preserve how it was but let us have our TNG GOOD actors back!--
Donatello - The Shredder? Michelangelo - Maybe all that hardware is for making coleslaw? -
I say just cancel Enterprise. They should have done it as a post TNG. Cast is good, but the timeframe is wrong. Maybe have Q grab the Enterprise crew and move them in to the future and place them on the TNG ship with some of the original characters and other main characters are captains or head engineers of other starfleet ships. Call it StarTrek: Federation Fleet. Make it a big war against some alien race or the final fights against the Borg. Here's an awesome quote in the beginning for it. "In Space....Man and alien races have had their differences in the galaxy. As they've com in contact with each other, many conflicts have broken out. A new enemy threatens to destroy all galactic life. A new pact is formed between several races, creating a powerful fleet that will boldly fight until the very end......and ensure all beings the right and will to live." Have an awesome StarTrek like theme and have the scenes similar to Battlestar Galactica. Even have a few main characters die off at points. Massive battles where the ships are separating the disc section for elite space combat and fighting. And ships that are captured are taken by the Borg and assimilated into their hive. Even have a few reoccurring roles of people thought to be dead, but coming back as Borg. That would be awesome.

Not Voyager the Series. Voyager from the first StarTrek Movie. Voyager needed to combine itself with it's maker "humans". They assimilated to each other to increase it's knowledge and growth. Once this was done, Gene Rodenberry put together a journal of how it was the beginning of the Borg. A new form that increases itself, but assimilating anything it comes in contact with. It continually learns and upgrades through the assimilation process.

In early TOS episodes, there was talk about an enterprise that was lost, and recovered without most of it's crew. This would be an excellent way to push it forward. The Q come in saying Borg have become like a cancer and they cannot remove it on their own. They pull some of the Enterprise crew into the future and the minds of the rest of the crew left behind are wiped clean not knowing what happened. The crew that move into the future New Enterprise Flagship, leading the Deep Space fleet. They use stale Worm Hole coordinates, discovered by the Voyager ship crew, and jump into hyperspace to destroy or break up what they can of the Borg hives, by destroying them or causing them to become independent beings. A massive Earth attack would be great, along with other planets like Vulcan and Romulus. Even Bejur being almost completely assimilated. The Federation and other groupings get their butts thwomped majorly at times. The first 4 seasons practically write themselves. You can have several spin offs of different fleets and lost ships trying to make it back. Movies would show a ton of action.

That sounds like a great idea. Especially the part about:
