I have a movie in .VRO and .BUP and .IFO and i want to convert to .mpeg or any other format in which i can burn to a dvd and put the movie in video_ts folder and such. Thanks for any advice

If you have nero express click burn DVD file's drop those files in and you should be good to go, Because it sounds like they are already dvd files.

These files are from a recorder, so the VRO file is (or should be!!!) already dvd-compliant. Try importing it into your authoring application and it shouldn't complain (or, if it needs to be demultiplexed, use tmpgenc->file->mpeg tools, demultiplex).
