    Hi, I've got an AVI file and going to convert it to MPG using TMPGENC. I would like to mute the sound of the first 2minute of the MPG file because it's making a terrible noise, but I don't want to loose the position of the sound and the movie(don't want any movie and sound lags/mismatch). How do I do it???

    open the avi in goldwave
    mute the audio
    save as a new wav
    open the avi and the wav as audio source in tmpgenc
