When I try to convert a movie in MPEG-TS to .avi (MPEG2 to mpeg4) I have no sound in the converted movie. I try to change the channel. But no sound.
Audio is in mpeg2, 48000, 192 kb/s. An idea ?[/img]

First, you say that you have tried to change channels. I assume that you mean that you have tried several tracks (plusieurs pistes -- je regrette que mon français est si mauvais)? Try playing the original file in, say, VLC, and verify which track contains the audio you wish. Sometimes, the audio track you want is not where one would expect. [If I recall correctly, there is a numerical offset of one between the numbering conventions of ffmpegx vs. VLC.]
Also, you have options to decode with QT or mencoder. Try altering your choice to see if you obtain better results.
Bonne chance!
