    I want to know how i can join a .mv2 file (mpeg video stream)
    with ac3 audio so i can make and avi file. I could do if i had a ac3 codec for virtual dub-mpeg which supports mpeg , Or if i cound find a mpeg2 codec for nandub which supports ac3 sound.

    You have elementary audio and video files so you could author them like you are making a dvd w/o menus and then open the resulting vob files in virtualdub-mpeg2

    VirtualDub-MPEG2 should be able to open the M2V file - not sure about the AC3 - maybe virtualdubmod can do what you want ?


    On a side note, you seem to have asked quite a few questions over the past couple of weeks - there's nothing wrong with that at all - but you might be better served doing some reading, looking at some guides and trying them out. All the information you will ever need is here already

    I dunno why VirtualDub don;t realease a program that is all the version combined together with nandub and all.

    i downloaded virtualdub mod but ther no place to select audio stream.

    Under Streams->Stream list, select add.
    And to convert to avi select under Video->full processing and Video->compressions and select something like divx or xvid.
