  1. Ok, I made a slideshow in DVD builder, and added audio. If I preview the whole thing, eveyrthing is great, audio is all synced up, and EVERY pic plays ( 4 sec duration ). I then burned the DVD, and played it in my set top player. The disc ran, and about 7 or 8 slides in, the screen went blank. The audio continued, uniterrupted. 8 seconds later a picture showed up again. It had skipped two pictures completely. I tried the disc in my PC DVD player, same thing. At first I thought maybe either the disc screwed up while burning, or maybe something was wrong with those pictures so I burned another of the exact same project. This time, 5 different pics blanked out. The two that did the 1st time worked on the second disc, so i knew I wasn't looking at an issue with those pictures. Instead of blaming my burner or media, I encoded the project to my hard disc this time. I opened the .ISO with disc copier, and previewed it there. BLANK FRAMES! So, the issue is occurring during the encoding process. Anyone have a solution to this? I have a clean installed Win XP Pro, up to date Roxio Media Center 7.0.430 or whatever, and P4 3.2GHz with 2GB RAM and over 100GB of free disc space.
