burning problems

I have made a lot of coasters and not one good disk. I have tried using DVD Decryptor then DVDShrink. I have also tried just DVDShrink. Both ways I am using Nero to burn the disks. I have a Sony DRU-510A burner and have an AMD 2700+ processor with 2 120 GB Hd in Raid 0, and 1024k of 400 mhz Ram. The problem is in the burning. Every disk gets an error at some point in the burning process. I have tried TDK 2x DVD-R, CompUSA 2x DVD-R, and I use Imation DVD+RW first to check to see if I copied good. Most of the time it seems that the Imation disks until I play them back. Usually towards the end of the movie, it hangs up. The others do the same thing at whatever point the error occured. I am following the steps given in the guides on this website. What is my problem?

Disable burning with Nero and burn with DVDDecrypter.

...also shrink a little bit more, like down to 4.2 GB to avoid the troublesome outer edge of the disc (cures "errors at end of movie" problems for unreliable media).
