I have ripped a DVD to HD using DVD Backup. Compressed it to less than 4GB using DVD2ONE, then burnt to DVD using Toast 6.0.5. The first time I tried this, I got a Mac OS Error -50, and the disc was then ejected. I then tried again but deleted all of the files that were trailers (not the actual main movie file) and the movie burnt fine but with no sound (althought the main movie file was a Muxed MPEG-2). I tried all of this with another movie and it worked fine and plays on all my DVD players.
Could there be an error with the file that I am using? Would a later version of toast work?
Any help appreciated

OK I just read the 'How to properly burn......." and it works great in all my players. I think that adding the AUDIO_TS folder enabled the sound to work some how (even though it's empty). Did take alot longer to burn though- but hey it burned!
It's really cool that people are genuinely helping eachother out with stuff here. Nice one!
