Hi, I've got a 1 minute trailer that I need to burn to a very high quality. My file is 3GB. When I try to burn the file in Toast, it compresses it to something much much smaller. I want to keep it looking very good. Please help. Thank you.

What kind of video? (MKV? MP4? MOV?) And, is it HD video? More information (use the OS X version of MediaInfo, for example) might help.

If you're creating a DVD-Video disc (supposed to be compatible with most DVD players), your video will be re-encoded to MPEG2 with a maximum resolution of 720 x 576 (PAL) or 720 x 480 (NTSC). See What Is: DVD at the top left corner of this page for more information.

Okay, thanks. My video is not HD. It is a quicktime, though not marked MOV. I exported straight from my Final Cut timeline, no compression, as the video is only 1 minute long.

The end product needs to be compatible with most DVD players, yes. It is NTSC 720 * 480.

Looking to create a really high quality DVD. So far, I cannot find a way to compress my video into MGEG 2 without losing a crap load of size and quality. Please help.
