  1. I recently purchased 100 of the Ritek Ridata DVD-R to use with my Phillips DVD+RW DVD8601 and when trying to burn with Nero, Shrink DVD, and DVD Decrypter none of the programs recognize the disk. Now I used all three of the programs with the same Phillips drive using Verbatim DVDs and they worked fine. Any clues? Maybe a new firmware out there? I can easily return the DVDs but would like to keep them because I got 100 of them for $39 shipped.

    Thanks

Is your Phillips DVD+RW DVD8601 dual format, - only, or + only? Can't find that model in the DVD Writers section.
