  1. Hi I have a MPEG-2 DVD source that I captured from TV. Unfortunately my flatmate addjusted the volume during capture, so I have a little volume bar appear in the top right corner for a few seconds.

What is the best way to remove this? It only appears for a few seconds and vanishes. The picture is also pretty static for this period. Is there any way to "cut and paste" over the volume bar - like you would a picture in Photoshop. Ideally I would not like to have to re-edit the movie or change format.

    Hello,

You can use virtualdubmpeg2 and delogo (use a net search for "delogo"). It will output as an avi though. So it will need to be reconverted to mpg for dvd burning.

I also don't know of any mpeg only converters that do delogoing, I think you have to convert to avi then back.--
