  1. When I installed sp2 I originally thought my only problem was Nero 6 (which was fixed with an update) but then I find I am dropping frames like crazy (265 dropped in a 40 second capture). I checked the Pinnacle site and the MS site and the only thing they mentioned was an error message when accessing an mpeg file (and Pinnacle is working on that), so this is something that may be specific to my setup, maybe not. I reverted back to my last SP1 backup and everything is back the way it should be, no dropped frames. Just wanted to give you a heads-up if you use Pinnacle Studio 9. I'll wait a while to see if this is fixed before reinstalling SP2. I really hate that, because there were some things that were improved, in my case, when I added the SP2. Anyone else experience this?
If it works, don't fix it.

  4. I had problems the minute I installed SP2...promptly removed it. Simply annoying. That whole auto-update nonsense is completely infuriating. Microsoft really needs to get they're sh!t together.
Look, let me explain something. I'm not Mr. Lebowski; you're Mr. Lebowski. I'm the Dude. So that's what you call me. That, or Duder. His Dudeness. Or El Duderino, if, you know, you're not into the whole brevity thing--
