  1. i have got an .avi file with switchable subtitles (the subs arent seperate files but are part of the .avi file itself). the avi file is 23.976 fps and i want to change it to 25 fps with virtualdub. problem is virtualdub doesnt show the subtitles in its preview window so the file with the changed framerate has no subtitles. has anybody got any ideas how to solve this problem. the subtitles can either be switchable or permanent for the new file i dont mind.

  3. my .avi file can have the subtitles switched on or off using vobsub (green arrow in system tray). there is no subtitle file like .ssa or .sub just one .avi file. is that enough explaining or not?

    I think you have an OGM file so take a look at this thread:

    You'll have to demux the subs and mux them later after changing the framerate, reconstructing the OGM.

    i am 100% certain it is not ogm. the file extension is .avi. i have got some ogm files too but the sub for them are seperate files so i know how to deal with them. its definately an .avi file.
