Hello
I have recently completed a project on Premier Pro using various transitions, title screens etc.. The video consisted of captured movie from my DV camera and stil photographs with background music.
I wanted to try and use Encore to publish the DVD so I exported the movie from Pro selecting Microsoft AVI (Not Microsoft DV AVI). This enabled me to select my own Codec (which in this case is Mainconcept DV Codec 2.4.4)
When I tested the ACI it seemed to play back fine although Windows Media player did show an error at then end. I later noticed that the sound was out of sync on this AVI as well.
I then completed a very simple import and encode on encore and ended up with a finished DVD. The sound was out of sync and it was unable to display the stills properly with them not staying on the screen as long as they should etc.. Some titles did not appear.
I cannot understand why this happened as I have done nothing to deviate from Adobe tools. I am making sure that I render the timeline prior to exporting to ensure all the transitions are correctly in place. I cannot see where I may be going wrong. Does anyone have any ideas?
