  1. I have recently bought a DVD rewriter and the sonic burning software was no use to me, so I downloaded nero which I have found to be good as I have burned cds on it b4 and it played in my dvd player.
I bought a dvd writer as my movies are often too big to write to dvd and now, when I went to burn my movie onto dvd disc the dvd player would not recognise my disc.
The movies are in original wmv files, I edit them in nerovision 2 and burn them in dvd format. It won't play in dvd player the error just reads bad disc.
please help asap. How can I overcome this problem

How have you converted the WMV files?

When my DVD writer didn't read my DVD it was because it can't use DVD-R, so now I have a 25 pack of coasters.

As for the DVD player saying you have a bad disk, is your DVD player old? Some of the older ones will not read DVD-R.

I used Nerovision2 to edit my movie files and then I went to "burn to DVD" and burned it then. It didnt say that I have to convert them.
Even if I need to convert them I dont think I have the software needed to convert them. Is that the problem?

"How old is your dvd player"
My dvd player is relatively new, had it for a year or so.
I would be grateful for your help thanks
