  1. Ok im using Vidomi to convert the already DIVX file to a smaller divx file. but everytime I do it creates 2 files instead of one.... I want it to make it 60mb so it creates 2 60's instead of just one. I turned off chapters and everything, I just cant figure this out please help. It does this with all my other files also. Should I be using a different program instead?

    thanks!

    Hi

I understand your frustrations as I have had MANY in the past. As you are finding out, the implementation of video formats on PCs is complicated!

There are different versions of VirtualDub, try VirtualDubMod, NanDub or VirtualDub MPEG that are designed to cater for different scenarios. Ususally if one does not quite do what you want it to, another will.

VirtualDub (in all its geises) is a powerful tool & is a standard program used to manipulate video. As with all things video, it relies on correctly installed Codecs.
