I'm really lost here, and completely new to fooling with different video formats, and could really use some help. I recently ripped part of a DVD to MPG format, in order to burn to a a blank DVD. I also downloaded some vids from archive.org, in DIVX format. I want to burn all of the above files onto one DVD, and have them play as one continuous movie. Before I start wasting empty DVD's, I have a couple of questions...

    1. Will I need to convert the DIVX vids to MPG format before burning?
    2. Once I burn the vids to disc, will I be able to play them as one non-stop movie?

I don't need any title menu's, etc. I just want to be able to insert the DVD into my player, hit start, then have the videos all play back-to-back.

Thanks in advance for the help. I'm really trying to learn all this stuff on my own, but it's all pretty baffling.

I think DVDFlick can be your answer. It can burn MPEGs and DIVX files to the same DVD. When you load all your titles to a project (without having to convert them), you can select Project Settings->Playback->After a Title has Finished Playing->Play the Next Title. It also has an option to play the first subtitle when you first insert the DVD as well.
There are no problems - only chances to excel.

Thanks! I downloaded and installed DVDFlick, and burned my first DVD without a hitch. Great program. Thanks again!
