  1. I am using Ulead DVD Workshop to capture and burn some footage onto a DVD

    I need to get the audio out of the video entirely before I burn it to DVD.

    While using Ulead DVD Workshop 2, I leave it on the default settings. (DV)

    When I go under the "options" settings the box to check for "do NOT capture audio" is grayed out

    Any ideas?

    Can i use TMPGE to get a QUALITY transfer while it gets the music out of it?

    Will programs like Ulead DVD Workshop2 be able to import an "m2v" file?

    Can I have TMPGE split the sound and video files up DURING the conversion from DV to MPG-2 (dvd FORMAT)?

    Let me know and THANKS!

    After capturing, CLOSE DVDWS2;

    If it's DV or AVI format, open VirtualDub or whatever and save only the video;
    If it's already MPEG2, use TMPGENc demux to save the separate M2V stream (DVDWS 2accepts it);

    If it's the first case, you'll have a video only AVI file. Either load it directly onto WS2 and let it convert it, or convert it to M2V using TMPGEnc or whatever;

    Either way, you'll have to work outside WS2;
