The estimated file size is too large for the CDR. Try changing your render settings or a larger capacity CDR disc.

What render settings are you using? How many minutes are you trying to store on the dvd? Lower the video bitrate and you can store more minutes /dvd.
And are you making a standard dvd-video in vegas?
And are you sure you are using dvds....it says cdr...but it could be a wrong error message from vegas though.
thanks for your reply.
render settings... I tried MainConcept AVC/AAC (mp4)
templete.... Default Templete
desription...Audio: 128 Kbps, 48,000 Hz, AAC.
Video: 512 Kbps, 29.970 fps, 320x240
the footage is a little over 6 mins. (not that big?)
yep using a blank DVD to burn onto in vegas. I am clicking on TOOLS/BURN CD/MULTIMEDIA CD is that the correct procedure to burn a DVD? or should I be in a supporting programe?
thanks once again for help/and advice
