  1. Hi,

I have 'Lord of the Rings - Return of the King' in 3 parts of rmvb files.

Total 3 hrs and 20 min.

I try to burn them into DVD.

1st, I convert the rmvb files into SVCD format (? mpeg2) with EO Video.

Then I try to convert the SVCD mpeg2 into DVD file using TMPGEnc Plus v2.5. And TMPGEnc Plus 2.5 will take 8 hrs to convert just part one.

    Any suggetion?

    Thanks.....

If you can't convert them directly to MPEG2, DVD compatible (See DVD specs to the left) with EO, you could use SVCD2DVD, which is a transcoder and faster than re-encoding which TMPGEnc is trying to do.

My suggestion is to just buy it instead of messing around with conversion and burning. It retails for about $15 most places. You'll spend much more than that in time , materials and aggravation trying o convert your shoddy rmvb files.

  4. I will try with SVCD2DVD.

    Thanks redwudz!

There is 'Lord of the Rings - Return of the King' in the store now. But there is only the 'cut down' vision with only 192 min running time.

And my download vision is the 'Platinum Series Special Extended Edition' which is 3 hrs and 20 min running time. We still need to wait for another 6 months or more before it hits the store.

vioxx I suggest you put a big banner with large capital letters "I have illegal copies of LOTR3 here" in front of your house. That way more people will know about it.
Suggestion #2: don't say its in real video or real video convert to xxx (to whatever format you wanna do it), most of film connesseurs may vomit on you right away as soon as you mention this format...
