  1. Hi, dear all.

    I'm completelly newbie about such kind convertions: dvd to rmvb or AVI/DIVX/XVID/MPEG to rmvb files.

    ---> http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rmvb

    1- Can you point me some nice and stable programs ( freewares and not freewares too) that can handle these kind of convertions, please? :P

    2- I wanna know some programs that can burn permanent subtitles into the video during such convertions too. Remember: it's nice if I can choose the color, the fonts, the size and others itens from that embedded subtitles.

    PS: I wanna know how to do these convertions not because the quality output, but mainly because the quality is acceptable (not great like good xvid or h264 converted files, for example) and the small size are very interesting in the final convertion.
    Thanks.

    Search Comp PM
    Look to your left. The menu there has a Tools section. Here you can search by the type of conversion you want to do, see a long list of tools that are related to that type of conversion, with ratings and user comments. There you will find your answer.

  3. Look to your left.
    I do not find many options about these specifical doubts here.

    Some topics below are just the opposite what I want to know.

    How to Convert RMVB(Real Media Variable Bitrate) to AVI/MPEG/WAV with EO Video
    Convert RealMedia to AVI / MKV
    How to convert RM/RMVB to AVI or MPEG1/2
    I want to know how to deal with AVI TO RM options and not the contrary.

    WinAVI, SUPER and "Easy Real Media Producer" can do it.

    Can you point me some other good programs that can handle these convertions, please?

    Thanks.

  4. Real Producer Basic 10 (or some newer version of this freeware might be available now). Search their website or google for it. If they don't support the freeware basic version anymore, you will have to go for the shareware pro version or some other free encoders (including those you mentioned).
