I came across a store here that had a KICK ASS deal on 4X blank DVD-Rs. It was a 50 pack of DVD-R for I think $29.99 or $39.99( I was so shocked that I even forgot the price). ANyways, do any of you guys use these blank media discs? I only use Memorex blanks and love it but for the price, these Ridata's seem like a steal. Now I just need to wait on your response. I read on the forum that Ridata is made by Ritek, but is it manufactured through Ritek or do they use some cheap other manufacturer as their subsidary to make these Ridatas? Let me know. Thanks.

I gone through approximately 70 of these out of the 100 pack that I picked up. As far as I can tell, these are great, and so far, no coasters at all. I went with them after running out of the Ritek Shiny Silvers (burned through a 100 pack with no coasters either) and chose these instead b/c I had just picked up an R200 along the way. As far as I can tell, they're the same media, just different looking tops.

BTW, I got mine from supermedia.com for $76 shipped.

  7. Well for me it was a different story. First ordered 50 discs, great results. I then ordered 100 discs, all of them were complete crap. With my luck, it is a complete crap shoot.
    Blah, blah, blah
