  3. I have a DVC80. I have used videowave4 with this device to capture mpeg-1. However, you WILL get better results with the DVC80 if you capture in avi and let another prog like TMPGEnc encode it fore you.

  5. To capture in mpeg-1, you need a capture program that has a software real-time mpeg-1 encoder. There are several available, Ulead video studio, WinVCR, PowerVCR, NanoPVR, and other software recording programs. However, the quality is quite poor on all of them...
