  1. Hi! I used Smartripper a while ago to rip a DVD that was dual layered, but as I usually convert to VCD I ripped it as one large .vob file, so now that I want to put it on a dvd-r is there a program that will cut it? And is there a way to get the video_ts files like on dvd dycrypter from this .vob?

    Thanks!

Sure , rip it again with DVDdecrypter with default settings
    assuming you still have it

Since multiple vobs are contained within the VIDEO_TS folder , how did you manage to rip one large vob file.

Well, you could get Ifoedit to make new IFOs for it
and copy it to 1G segments too if you want that

  6. Smartripper lets you choose the max filesize for the .vob file.

So will IFOedit let me cut the big .vob into 1gig files or do I need something else?

IfoEdit will copy your big VOB to a different folder and separate
it into pieces - and create IFO files for it to make a complete DVD
I can't remember the exact buttons. Try "create IFOs"

0.99 GB files are the max allowed by the format.
