Error with Nero when burning DVD.

I'm getting a "DVD-Video Files compliance test failed". When I continue anyway I'm getting a "A non critical error occurred during the operation, which may result
in a defective write. Do you wish to continue anyway?"
The resulting DVD will play in my PC DVD burner/player but not on my standalone DVD player.
What do I do, if anything, to fix this?

Hi - I had this a year or so back - the way around it for me was to load the video_ts.ifo into ifoedit, and then run the "get vts sectors" option. Can't say it'll sort your problem but it's worth a try.

Are you using Nero Xpress or the full version ? THis error means that your disc is not DVD-compliant (ohhh durrrr) because you are missing either a required file or a required directory.

What files do you have and how are you trying to burn it ?

I'm using Nero 6.0.0.23 Full version. The files I have are .BUP, .IFO, and .VOB files.
Note also that I can create an image file with Nero, mount it with Daemon Tools and it will fire up fine on my PC with Power DVD. It's getting it burned that is problematic.

Do me a favor and switch to Xpress and use the DVD-Video template. See if it works then.
