  1. hey i have a lite-on dvd +/- dvd burner and ive been using dvd x copy....it seems to begin reading dvds alot slower than usual. usually it would take about like 15 min to read each dvd, 15 min to burn, now all dvds are taking no less than 35 min to just read. i dont understand!!

    Seriously, I would examine perhaps any other programs running in the background ? Please don't tell me you're playing games while its working !

  5. please help! ive reinstalled all IDE drivers, shutdown all programs running, and my burner has still dropped significant speeds in just reading not burning

    Make sure your dvd burner is set to DMA. I would suggest using DVD SHRINK to back up your dvds instead of DVD X COPY.

    Has your IDE channel reverted back to PIO for some reason?
