I have over hundred DVD copies. I use DVDfab Platinum, and as you all know it puts them in the VOB folder. So my question is, which dvd burn software will let you load the folder and burn the dvd to a disk. I'm looking for just a simple and easy dvd burner, nothing like Nero 8, which I know does the trick but it's a huge program that does a lot. And do I need the other 4 files, the 2 IFO files and the other 2. Or do I just need the main vob/mpeg files which is the main movie.

    ImgBurn,
But DVDFab Platinum will automatically burn back to dvdr and delete the temp files,
and if you get the last couple of updated versions of DVDFab Platinum, it will autoburn using ImgBurn, they added the feature not long ago which to me, makes it the best all in one ripper, transcoder, burner program for a 1 button wonder.
And it's regularly updated for newer copy protections 8)

And if you just want the main movie, just select "main Movie" when ripping, unless you are talking about the freeware version DVDFab HD Decrypter.

I've never used the "Write Data" feature on DVDfab. I'll give it a try, and I will also try ImgBurn.

But yeah, I'm always looking for the new updates. It's the best program by far, and I've used them all. Over half didn't even copy protected movies. So the programs were pretty much useless.

    Thanks for the help!

Many of the disc folders will be larger than a single layer DVD will hold. You can use DVD Shrink to copy to a single layer disc and have it fit.

I always choose the main movie option. I can fit two movies on one DL disc, which works out great.

Main goal is to keep the dvd quality, no compression or quality loss.

Seems like an odd, tricky and expensive way to do it. With high quality, easy and consistent burning SL Taiyo Yudens available for about $.30, one movie per would be more convenient, much cheaper and more compatible with most players.

You are quite correct, but a significant number of people get wood about putting as many movies as possible on one disc. I've also known of some people who are almost pathologically afraid of clutter and to them, the extra cost and potential for problems are acceptable risks to take if it means in the end that they have fewer discs to store. I'm not saying any of this applies to the original poster, I'm just saying it applies to some people who do this kind of thing. We get posts every now and then from guys from one particular country who seem to think that it's just great to have 12+ films on a single DVD, so these people do exist.

I would never compress a movie to a smaller file size. You might as well throw the quality away.
