  1. This is the second time this has happened to me using freshly encoded mpegs. I've converted DiVX AVI files to SVCD using MainConcept MPEG Encoder, yet each time the application just stops. Ive let it run overnight for shits and giggles, but that didnt work.

When it gets to the "Resampling audio" portion of the conversion, it just stops. Nothing freezes, just stops.

    Starting SVCD2DVD: v1.51.2.0
    Begin time: 10:30:58 AM

    Analysing File: C:\DVD_RIP\InAmerica\america.mpg

    -->Processing 1 mpeg files

    ############### New MPEG File ###############
    File: C:\DVD_RIP\InAmerica\america.mpg
    Type: SVCD
    Horizontal Res: 560
    Standard: NTSC
    Audio SampleRate: 0

    ******** Demultipexing original mpg file

    (Total size: 3633MB, Duration: 00:07:17, Rate(MB/Min): 497.83)

******** Resampling audio from 44.1 KHz to 48 KHz

  2. More info,

What I had was a 700 meg DiVX file, converted to one big mpeg2 file with Main Concepts encoder. This didnt work.

So I re-encoded the DiVX file to SVCD and split it into 3 parts. Aparently this worked fine. Yet the same process converting dozens of Ren and Stimpy DiVX files to SVCD did not work.

All default by Main Concept, 44khz 480x480 x30fps.

Why not 48kHz, if you are encoding anyway? SVCD2DVD then can skip the audio conversion. So it has no reason to stop there.

  4. I had issues with the audio being ac3 and I had issue of there being an error in the audio and resampling failing in svcd2dvd and tmpenc.
